Overseas is looking better and better, if you are at or nearing retirement.
Daily living costs are much lower, weather is much better (South Dakota? Really?), services are better,
medical care is superior at 1/4 the cost, and taxes on income and real estate are a lot lower.
Unless I need to work for a US company in the US, I'd rather live in Malaysia, Thailand, Viet Nam, than the US.

This whole mid term and the blame it on Trump narrative is clear proof, to me, the Main Stream Marxist Media (MSMM) has done its assigned task - Stalin would be proud. The MSMM is now working overtime to press home the I-Hate-Trump narrative. It will make the populous less sensitive to impeachment and lawfare procedures I expect to dominate the coming news cycles.

Many were thieves in the election that put them there, and after arrival they showed their true talent, stealing.

And all the Cali transplants drove up the cost of real estate.

Unfortunately, the same thing has been happening here in Arizona for years.

When I finally scramoosed out of Illinois about 10 years ago, I chose to move here to Arizona, which had a Republican Governor and both Republican Senators.

Now all three have completely switched, and the county I live in (Maricopa) is the most corrupt in terms of voting in the country. As long as the election cheaters remain in office, of course nothing will ever change.

Maybe time to move again?
