What I am referring to is men who escape by using their wives as an excuse. It is a nonstarter in a conversation. I am not interested what the wife says or does when I am having a conversation with a man. Why inject in the second sentence that he is married? I never referred to my husband when in a party. They should stick a post on their chest: "Hi, my name is Jack and I have a wife".

I think it is American thing. You don't see it in Europe.

We have a few here at Hospice...it's not me and I don't understand it.
I could use more support for what I do, for my writing, my building, creating...but that's ok, I live not for others but for myself and what ever is in my best interest.

My take is that his greatest mistake was to marry the hag. The woman was after money from the beginning (her bio says that much, e.g that her father did not agree to the marriage b/c "politicians are not good prospects for wealth generation").

So she made up for it after they got out of the WH, taking treasures with them. Then they set up the Clinton Foundation to capitalize on their connections.
