Is name calling necessary?

Is it possible to have a discussion here without invoking name calling or snotty nicknames of those people who are disliked?

I too chuckle at the creativity to bring some of these .....expressions....... to bear. I also laugh in relief at how ignorant I have been and that I have rectified ....most...of my behaviors. I am fallible, everything is learned. I am ignorant of many things. To take pride in ignorance is Stupid.
Fair enough. I asked the question so I accept your answers especially considering that it has been civil discourse.
