I never liked the Beatles. They had a few songs that I enjoyed but the most part didn't care for them. I know that makes me an outcast!

There are so many to pick from for many different reasons. I’ve recently rediscovered “Working Class Hero” by Lennon, and today it has a whole new meaning. Possibly Lennon was ahead of his time relating the politics of Britain two generations before socialism became prevalent on our shores. Hands down, the best line, from Double Fantasy, is “Life is what happens while you’re busy making other plans.” But the best Beatle song(s) is the medley from Abbey Road. With the early "I saw her standing there" a close second.

My favorite is “Something.” At least I think that’s the title. I like the way that an English singer by the name of Des O’Connor sings it.

I love all Beatles songs, but in this forum, Taxman has to be the selection. I think of Wesley Mouch every time I hear it!

Over the years while attending auctions and estate sales I became a collector of vinyl records. I had a little over 8000 albums. This takes a toll on ANY open space in my home. The last year or two I have sold about half of them. I love the 50's/60's that include the Beatles. I still have many of their albums.While partaking some of mother natures best, the music can take you to days of future past.
