Do you want to live in a society where Facebook and Twitter decide not what is permissible to say but even which narratives can be explored and which ones can’t?

    @Wjshipley I don't look much, frankly I almost never looked at my twitter account either. Doing more at the moment.

    Yes. We're all capable of using mute to ignore content that we choose not to read.

    Stick around. One would hope that more liberals use parlor. The goal is to have an open discussion with no Ministry of Truth deciding what can and cannot be said.

    We would happily do it on Twitter, but they decided that they were the arbiters of Truth.

    The whole point of free speech is that the listener is the arbiter of truth.

    I do insist on FB and Twitter be free to host or not host whatever content they want.

    I'm disappointed that Google took Paler out of their Android app store. I installed in manually tonight. If Google should ever put out an update that interferes with apps like Paler, I will consider an OS other than Android.

    I don't actually think I'll use Parler. People who explore the conspiracy narratives surrounding President Trump find techies like me contemptible, and the feeling is pretty much mutual.

    I’m done with that crap. I lived 40 years without Social Media. I can live another 40 and it will be better than the last 10.
