    We're on the far end of the line in a rural area. The neighbors on both sides get 12MB; we only get 8 (at best.) Just 25 yards too far according to the provider.

    Seriously that 20Mb's download they guarantee is pretty far fetched. There is just something about Window downloader too that drags.

    (Seriously, on a good day I can get double that speed if no one in the neighborhood is streaming video or playing online games.)

    Mine was downloading at an average rate of around 350K, ridiculous. I'll reboot my router and if not call CenturyLink to see what's going on. I finally got the file, but I went out to lunch during the download. But I did get it and it worked. Thanks, I've been copying everything the internet police might delete, going to have to get me another terabyte drive. Something to rub in their faces when I sue them for misinformation.

    If these logs are faked it presumably would be easy for people with accurate records to point out the errors or misalignments. These are extraordinary claims. Clearly this needs a lot of discussion and corroboration.

    As usual we get personal insult, words like- unsubstantiated, discredited, but no actual argument or evidence is presented,
    or complete silence.

    JoNova is very well informed. Criticism, even personal, is allowed on her site!
    She knows that, in the current situation, who sits as US president is far more important globally than 'big storm forecast for WoopWoop'.

    Hypothetically, you could play it back and use Debut Video Capture program to record it. That ties up the computer screen until its done, and any streaming lags get 'recorded', too. Not an ideal solution.
