Just visited favorite local pub. Had a nice little Chardonney and delicious hamburger. Not one person in the pub had on a mask. None outside in the garden either. No one seemed to care.

When is 'the masks won't protect you' going to be understood. Now, we have Lynda Gates urging us to get vaccinations. Facebook and Twitter are going to block any negative COVID vaccine items. What are they afraid of? We already know some folks had anaphylactic shock after receiving the vaccine. Not an uncommon reaction to a vaccine.

I see the Muzzle as a combination of ignorance + fear + compliance + conceit + virtue-signaling. Rebreathing expelled waste gases with increasing levels of CO2 trapped in the Muzzle manifold is harmful to one's health. This muzzle business has to come to a stop. I will not comply.

Great points! MT finally joined other states and just filed its own complaint against the governor and DPHHS illegal restrictions. Stay tuned.

Viral transmission is just as easily done through any moist opening. Wearing a mask while your eyes are not fully sealed is about as useful as screen doors in submarines. I have yet to see a single person wearing a mask who is not constantly adjusting it to remain above their nose.

Some virus are more contagious for young, some are just as infectious for all ages. Covid19 is much more contagious to older people, who are also 4 times more likely to die from it. The mistake was not realizing Covid has relatively small mortal danger to people under 60. Both from contracting the virus as well as death. The damage to life and well-being of people, both long-term and short-term was in far worse by closing down America.

People aren't wearing the right masks. They all should be earing MERV 14, N95 masks.

And, this is a very serious virus in terms of how easily it spreads.

In answer to this article. "Science" is subjective in America now. What's been applied in the management of the herd Americans over the past couple decades isn't the science I learned in school. It lacks standard deduction, reason, evidence and basic analysis. Science is now whatever the news anchors tell you.

    Good luck with that...

Disagree. Even N95 masks (for which one must be fitted and trained) have insufficient protective capabilities for particles the size of a virus. From a medical doctor and researcher who has been building masks for 25 years: https://www.aier.org/article/the-year... According to him, it takes an N100 mask to combat a virus.

      And a little anecdotal story:

My son was at a state university when the university administrators determined that "in order to keep the students safe" they would move to 100% online classes. That meant that for most of the last semester my son only left his dorm room to go to the cafeteria to eat. Then the administration effectively kicked everyone off campus for the holiday break. On November 21st, my son caught a (university-provided) bus home. On Tuesday - yes, right before Thanksgiving - he declared he wasn't feeling well. He spent two days in bed with a 101 F+ fever - including Thanksgiving day - while the rest of us were celebrating Turkey Day with family. A LOT of family. There were 15 people in my house 24/7 for days not to mention the family gatherings (25+ with less than half participating).

On Friday - when services reopened - my wife took him to get tested and sure enough - COVID-19. And so the rest of my family had to quarantine for the next ten days. It sucked. Bigtime. But not a single one of us beyond my son got symptoms - including my other two college-age daughters or my new son-in-law's father (yes, one of those daughters got married a week ago). We know because those three got tested after returning back to their campuses, etc. All came back negative. Not even my wife - who sucked on the thermometer she used on my son - got it.

PS - it is also interesting but even the WHO has finally admitted that the notion of an asymptomatic spreader is nonsense. The real science is that you have to spend about 15 minutes in close proximity to someone who is symptomatic to catch the disease.

Conclusion? Wear a mask if you want. But realize it's a placebo at best. https://www.theblaze.com/op-ed/horowi...

Recent article in the New York Post defined the limitations of masks and restated the fallacy of protection. And, there is evidence of increasing the risk factors due to the reduction of air flow around and just inside the mask. The article further pointed out that properly designed and manufactured mask may help but are not used. My opinion is that current face masks are decorations. They make my nose run like Niagara Falls. Gross!

We are only good if all humanity continues to wear masks as long as we exist on this woeful world. Hey, even if we migrate to other planets!
    Just ask Joebama,
Then ask oo-wee wow glass ceiling shattering Supreme Leader Komrade Kamaltoe after our senile Thief-In-Chief Quid Pro Quo Blows is by the 25th thrown under the bus.

I am sick of being called anti-social, anti-science, anti-anything by nits who swallow any concoction the media spoonfeeds them. I don't include some relatives and (former) friends in my life now. It's my life and there is too little time to waste it listening to self-righteous drivel about masks and virtue signaling. This virus is not normal, it is manufactured, and for all we know it may be released periodically in a new form just to keep us in lockdown. Call me paranoid if you wish, but I have never seen a virus so tailored to induce panic the way this one is being hawked.

Whether manufactured, normal, natural or not, it does the job.
It has only one job, to scare the sheep into submission.
More rules, more laws, tools for control.

What I find laughable is that here in Az that Hispanics and other from south of the border don't wear masks despite the local or state mask mandates. Many act if they don't understand nor read English. I ask an employee of an local lumber yard about this and was told they can't force them to wear masks, he shrugged and walked away. So, there you have it if you have darker skin color, don't speak English or read it you don't have to wear a mask. Total absurdity!

AND, just to add to the points, here is how well masks worked in Denmark (they didin't):

    https://twitter.com/BuckSexton/status...

Although, has anyone thought that maybe the correlation of "more covid" cases may also relate to the fact we are in flue season, and several papers were written saying the testing does not differentiate between the 2?

    Uh here is some data:

“Maskne,” face rashes, “mask mouth,” and sore throats point to bacteria building up in masks due to the humid, stagnant air and changes in the oral microbiome, which can cause systemic inflammation and downstream disease. A 2015 study found that health-care workers who wore cotton face masks suffered from significantly more respiratory illness than those who wore surgical masks.

Previous research conducted by Fauci himself found that the main cause of death in the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic was from bacterial pneumonia. Inhaling higher bacterial counts with every breath sounds like an especially bad idea.
Don't they say "Follow the science" (unless it does not fir their narrative).
It is a symbol of control, not a tool of science.
