One way or another the government will find a way to get their due on your labor. We noted before how Obama got the middle class to pony up more dough through payroll taxes. With Biden, he just going to let the Trump tax cuts for the middle class expire in 2025. So, there you have it again, folks. the Trump tax cuts did provide relief to most middle-income earners in America. It did create an environment for job growth.

If your Going Galt strategy relies on welfare, caution. There may be soon be different procedures to apply to "the privileged oppressors".

He needs more money to advance leftists ideals. He doesnt care how he gets the money or what its collection does to people or how the spending of it hurts them.
The question of why we bother to acquire wealth in the first place is made more real now. Emotionally already, I dont want to make money or have any more money I absolutely need. Why work and then have the leftists take it ?

"...the vast majority of us are part of a greater, common ideal that is civilization and society." This is the type of bromide used to collectivize and enslave vast swaths of humanity for "the greater good". Your history lesson only points out it took thousands of years to get past the tribal chief/king/dictator where the common folks were forced to pay fealty to whomever is in charge. The creation of our Constitutional Republic of "equals" is very recent in history and showed how successful it can be and will remain so - if we can keep it. Surrendering to a hierarchical collective with an elite ruler just because "that's the way it's always been throughout history" would be a tragedy. I'd advise against it.

I don't give them the luxury of pretending that they're just ignorant. They are not. They want government control of everything. They want to run the minutiae of everyone's lives because in their extreme arrogance they think that #1 they are entitled to be rulers and #2 that they are smart enough to control things without it blowing up in their faces.

The other thing to keep in mind is that they WANT the system to collapse because the Constitution actively prevents them from instituting the kind of one-world government they actively seek. They WANT to destroy currency and private ownership of everything. Their plan is to bring down the system and install another communist regime in its place.

Now the normal leftist voters? Are they vapid? Yes. Ignorant? Yes. Dangerous in numbers? Yes.

You do not understand at all, do you?
Even Galt’s Gulch was a fictional “collective”. Nobody is saying everyone is independent.
The key point is using violence to coerce compliance is wrong.
Your mindset literally thinks the best way to build a library starts with a gun.

Another talking point from The Left: A Tax-Cut is an Expense . . . "we cannot afford this tax cut" ... we hear this all the time.

Insisting that a Tax-Cut is an expense shows an ignorance of basic accounting.
More importantly, insisting that a Tax-Cut is an expense is morally reprehensible. It presumes that The State (bureaucrats) already own all of the money that is yet to be taxed on future production.

When I hear someone, in person, say that a Tax-Cut is an Expense, I call them out on it. They typically move away from me while sputtering some nonsense about how I don't care about people and want the old and the sick to just die ... Toddleresque tripe.

Not only that, but they think it's their money, not yours. The Wicked Witch of the West was pissed at Trump's tax cuts "because they let people keep more of the money they earn".

The people in the White House are just following orders. The puppet masters have a plan and they lay it out in Davos and the UN . Agenda 2030.
Good bye freedom if we lose this Uncivil War.

Being as how I am the "Anti Christ" of the Gulch, I will begin my statement with a terrible salute:

    Assalamualaikum Gulchers !

I, in reference to the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy; would like to stress that taxes have a justified cause. No human is an island onto it's own, unless of course they live in an uncharted region of the Great Pacific Ocean. Therefore, the vast majority of us are part of a greater, common ideal that is civilization and society.

For better or for worse, our kind has lived in societies over 60,000 years ago as homo sapiens and homo sapiens sapiens. Our first cities were graveyards, or necrópolis; and then we encountered the first greco roman villages and city states, "a posteriori" of the fertile lands of the crescent between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. Our first record of a human settlement is of Ur, though nowadays there seems to be predecessing cities to these.

In the New World, homo sapiens appeared as long as 25,000 years ago. Some natives are the direct descendants of the Mongolians that crossed the Bering Breach during the last ice age, though others such as the Ahonikenk in southern Patagonia are believed to predate these "injuns" to the time when the continents of our planet wered fixed together. Darwin studied these "Fueguino" Tribes aboard Captain Fitz Roy's Beagle before reaching the Galapagos Islands in the Pacific, scenario that deamed ideal for his study on evolution.

We depend on each other, therefore we are not completely independent. And that dependency has always been tributed to an Alfa, a Monarch, a leader. So, as you can deduct; we need to be protected and controlled. This is as old as civilization itself, and prior to it as well. And since the dawn of mankind we have always looked up to leaders, be they fathers, mothers, brothers, Chief Tribes Men, Feudal Lords, Senators, Royalty, Presidents, Ministers, etc. Socialism, therefore; is older than capitalism and individuality, which came later and as a result of the most privileged whom, in a blood pact of heirarchies and bloodlines; have unfairly instituted Dynasties to attend to their descendants first, second, and thirdly. Maybe "the people" came in fourth, though sometimes they may not even make the top hundreds list. This is Smith's Liberal Philosophy, "au contraire" to Monarchies, Empires, and Democracies.

We live in Presidentialist Democracies in the Americas, due to our heritage (both English, Spanish, and Portuguese). The Roman Catholic Church was the main Taxater in the XV and XVI centuries in Latin America, and the British Crown in the North. We all shed our shackles systematically after the Boston Tea Party and, of course; the Napoleon Wars in Europe which resulted in the French Revolution; "carta magna" of our American Constitutions.

That Democracies rust under the corrosion of corruption is as old as Greece itself, so...come now Gulchers, take a deep breath and let all these facts sink in before jumping to quick conclusions.

    Have a Nice Week

Indeed - never attribute to malice that which can be explained by incompetence. I think that quite a number of bureaucrats are simply incompetent fools that take themselves seriously in terms of their titles and compensation. The ringleaders (folks working behind the scenes), however, make sure to pull the right levers to send the Ship of State down the course of Collectivism.

Here is how I see the Liberal Mind in terms of taxes . . .

The toddler (Liberal) wants to be warm; however, the home is rather chilly. So the toddler moves a chair to the wall and then stands on the chair so as to turn the dial of the thermostat. The toddler has no clue as to the mechanics of what happens behind the scenes in terms of the thermostat and heating; moreover, the toddler will be unable to grasp the words from an adult who tries to explain that there is no heating oil, or that the power has been turned off due to a delinquency in payments, or that the budget for heating needs to be reduced to compensate for other expenses. And this is how the Liberal Mind perceives taxes -- the State needs more money, we just need to raise taxes. The Liberal is just that vapid -- there are no wheels in the Liberal Mind that are geared toward conceptualization; the faculties for thinking are nearly nonexistent.

I do believe that they know exactly what they are doing, and they are executing the "rule book" to the last dot and tittle. It's all folding out JUST like they want it to...and they are thrilled.

You need to PAY ATTENTION and recognize that the "people in the White House" are following their rule book, and they know exactly what they are doing. They are destroying the American way of life. They are increasing Marxism, Communism, and the chance that Muslims will take over America.

This is the type of nonsense that gets attention more than trillions of dollars of deficit spending. I honestly thought Republicans would suddenly remember fiscal responsibility, try to forget how they created trillion dollar deficits, and insist on getting back to Obama-era deficits. But apparently craziness brings in donations more than being deficit hawks.
