In "Atlas Shrugged" when Rearden is carrying the fatally-shot Wet Nurse, and asks him, I guess to encourage him, "Will you try to live, for me? ...Because I'm asking you to...." is that supposed to be his last mistake before he joins the strike and takes the striker's oath?

I would like to have asked her: When Rearden is carrying the Wet Nurse (who has been fatally shot)
"Would you try to live, for me? Because I want you to. Because I'm asking you to...." is that supposed to be his last mistake before he joins the strike and takes the striker's oath?

I meant "I wish",not "I with". #2 When Rearden is carrying the dying Wet Nurse in his arms, and asks him, "Will you try to live, for me? Because I'm asking you to..." is that supposed to be his last mistake before he takes the striker's oath?
