I am facing this issue b/c I have two kids going to middle school next this fall, one is 11 and the other will be 13. You have to be 12 to be vaccinated. As Dr. Markey says, masks fourth on the list of mitigation strategies. #1 is mandatory vaccination of the people in the school. Since that's not an option for my daughter, we're stuck with masks. It would be nice if they would hold some classes outdoors on warm days, so they can have a break from the masks.

I am concerned that the schools won't open because of some new development, and if that happens we're sending them to private school. This has gone on long enough. My daughter hasn't been in a school since Mar of 2020. I find this unacceptable. They need to do all the mitigation strategies (vaccines, distancing, ventilation, masks) in place because life must go on.

I have been seeing an " epidemic" of scared 4-8 year old who sit meekly and refuse to take off the face diapers even when their parent do. I do not require them in my office but the building outside my office does. They sit there and just shake their heads yes or no. This may be the true cost of the" pandemic"

I have thought about your question for about 24 hrs as I did not want to give a " standard" answer but to really think about it. I think it goes up to the current career individuals in both government and at the medical professional societies , eg ama. aap ,that have struck some type of political payback deal so that they ignore all dissent even when evidence based or not even to allow degrees of dissent where there is a kernel of truth surrounded by propaganda. It is either the company line or not at all. There are some doctors now losing their licenses if they say anything negative about the covid vaccines, mask mandates etc. Even private doctors are being targeted. Under these circumstances very few will opening say what they think. The media is just the mouthpiece spreading what they have been instructed to do.

I just left Staples. I was online behind the mother and her three children, probably ages 10 down to maybe 6. All three of the kids had masks on but Mom didn't. I wonder if she understands that what she is making her do is child abuse? Depriving a child of proper amounts of oxygen to their developing brain's is damaging. The amount of germs and crap on those masks it's dangerous. I can't help but wonder what the hell's going to happen the next few years as these kids get older.

Yes, this information needs to go mainstream. Hopefully Tucker will have this study presented on his show. But then, there isn't any liability on the governments part. The study will only have merit when one of the legislators grand kids get bad disease from the mask.

I read one study of masks worn for eight hours by children was a cornucopia of pathogens. The masks were cultured and the pathogens identified. Nasty.

I know , but the information on why children specifically should not wear masks is very well laid out by Dr Makary. I am seeing many of the issues he brought up in my practice eg lack of learning and the fear in the children and issues with their mental health
