What utter bullshit grandstanding. If this country is so *cked up that ruling that a person has a natural right to defend himself creates a mob riot situation than stick a fork in it, this country is done.

Bumbling Biden's similarities with Karloff's Frankenstein monster does not stop there. Both have childish minds that can get people killed. My favorite political cartoonist Branco has been drawing idiot Joe with bloody hands ever since he got a lot of people killed by the sloppy way he pulled out of Afghanistan.
By the way, me old dino read Mary Shelley's Frankenstein a couple of years ago for being on my literary Bucket List, so to speak. Her actual monster proved to be quite intelligent yet vengefully spiteful for being created. Reading her flowery Victorian writing took some effort but I persevered.

I tend to do that. Illustrate the absurd with the absurd in the name of preserving sanity.

I imagine the Khan's methods were pretty bad depending on the infraction.

Re the Constitution: You do realize this conversation took a rather tongue-in-cheek turn?

And consider some of the methods of execution!

Ah, yes; let's throw out cruel and unusual punishment along with the rest of the constitution......

If all prosecutors in this new age are like the lead idiot trying Rittenhouse, our goose is cooked to inedibility. Just a few weeks after A. Baldwin accidentally killed his cinematographer, this p.o.s. lawyer stood in the courtroom waving an AR-15 around, pointing it at people--WITH HIS FINGER ON THE TRIGGER!

Memory requires thought. Slow Joe's too preoccupied with not falling on his face for always walking at a forward tilt like Boris Karloff's acting interpretation of Frankenstein's monster.

Yup, Riots either way because it's a great excuse to party and they can get away with everything up to unjustified killing. Kids and punks love this stuff.

agreed. But if you strip them ALL DONE.
    Have one punishment.

The rest are CIVIL (person to person).

Then nobody is interested in making more things illegal.

Unfortunately, in todays corruption, getting 'strict' is usually a way to criminalize some minor behavior, because we've lost the plot on Family, Community, and Respect!

I believe it was Kublai Khan who bragged there was very little crime in his empire and a princess could ride an ass laden with gold from one end of the empire to the other. The reason was the punishment for almost all crime that would impede or molest her in any way was death.

Re the Star Trek episode, there are so many laws and regulations in America nowadays almost everybody could face the executioner.

Most people can't remember what they had for breakfast the day Joe Said it...

Joe can't remember what "Breakfast" is!

Maybe when Kyle gets to drinking age the old fool in the WH can have a C-Y-A beer summit, like a previous president who shot his idiot mouth off without firing up a few brain cells had to do.

Edit add: I wonder if Sleepy can be whacked after he's out of the WH. Then again, his defense could be "I don't recall" and it would be the truth.

Since race isn't a real issue in this...The issue seems to be just pure hatred of a young male who's willing to risk his own life trying to enforce property rights of his fellow countrymen. Think about that one... And, our president implied that this kid is a white supremacist. What a clustered mess, really. That said...I think Rittenhouse used poor judgement in terms of his own safety. These anti-fascists are clearly actually fascists. One should take that into consideration...

Too bad Senile Joe can't be touched for calling Kyle a "white supremacist." That really upset Kyle's' mother.
Bet our presidential puppet would not have said squat if not for obeying the instructions of his Marxist puppeteers.

    Cleary we have a problem...
It should NOT BE ILLEGAL to shoot rioters setting property on fire. IMHO

I think there would be riots regardless. These mobs aren't interested in law and order in any way, shape, or form. I agree with you. They use what they don't like as an excuse - not to actually protest.

I'm guessing there will be riots for any verdict/sentence less than a noose. I suspect the NG will be there for photo ops for politicians and to protect the same. They won't prevent much vandalism or looting because that's not what they are there for.

Agree. Sandman set a great example. When acquitted, I hope Rittenhouse takes the commie press to the same cleaners.

I would not be surprised if there are "Mostly Peaceful" activities (with bricks and Molotovs) after it's over and he's found not guilty. This is because the real conflict is between communists and what's left of Free America. The race card is primarily a propaganda lie used by the left's media machine to fracture Free America and divide us against each other. Race doesn't even have to be the issue, which it isn't here, because the imbeciles (useful idiots) are already conditioned to swallow it whenever it's served and act accordingly. The ruthless commies of the MSMM have been working overtime to destroy this young man and operating in the realm of lies is standard procedure. They just can't have Free Americans standing up for what is right.

You know what would be ironic, if the National Guard DIDN'T activate and instead you had thousands of patriots guarding the streets and businesses and shooting looters and rioters on sight.

The reason the National Guard was called up was part CYA and part common sense. The trial was started by a riot. Anyone who doesn't think these same idiot rioters won't use the trial as an excuse to riot again are fooling only themselves. I just hope that the National Guard isn't like that in Oregon where they just stand around and do nothing as shops are looted and destroyed and buildings are defaced and burned...

Not surprised. Fake news has been viciously rabble-rousing the Left with all kinds of lies.
Learned last night that the bit about Kyle shooting a child-raping thug in the arm only because that waste of breathing space testified that he pointed a pistol at Kyle FIRST has been oh so conveniently omitted from slanted "reports."
Hope Rittenhouse gets rich suing the pants off those defaming liars like Sandman did.

And it's all about one white guy shooting two other white guys. No Rodney Kings, Michael Browns or Trayvon Martin's.

We'll see if this triggers new Antifa riots, sorry, peaceful protests (with bricks and Molotovs).

AJ, we are at that point. Here and there I see tiny cracks of light trying to cut through a fog of progressive lies screamed out with strident voices and strengthened by corrupt media non-reporting. They are few and far between, but each day there are more. We're not done yet, but we are being pushed into a shooting war and martial law as the scum attempt to put a lid on freedom for good. Staywell, stay safe, stay alert.
