While we're very happy to have you in the Gulch and appreciate your wanting to fully engage, some things in the Gulch (e.g. voting, links in comments) are a privilege, not a right. To get you up to speed as quickly as possible, we've provided two options for earning these privileges.
If you get a bad comment, respond with an answer, technical comments with more detail if you can. Rudeness deserves a rude reply, or ignore, according to your own standpoint.
"He and I just do not see things the same way."
Yeah, this happens. So stand back from a quick reply and explain why you think differently.
Please refer to the Galt's Gulch Code of Conduct here: https://www.galtsgulchonline.com/faq#... and please refrain from any further proselytizing." If Galt's Gulch an open forum then I should be able to (as you call it) proselytizing. But if you can't Proselytize then Galt's Gulch is NOT an open Forum. So which is it?
I have been corrected here in the gulch more times than I care to count. I'm not an "expert" Objectivist like some here, so I try to learn. I may not agree with everything posted here, but I rarely get offended by it. Certainly not to the point of feeling 'unsafe'.
You can’t have it both ways , Where you can express your thoughts or opinion and ban the opposition to it. Please get real.
