It's hard to measure if 2.5 times the number of people died as a result of one vacation vs another because vaccines in general are so safe.

We don't know the long-term effects of COVID vaccine, but we also don't know the long-term effects of the virus itself.

People who have had it have some immunity, but I don't think it's correct that they have more. I do not understand why having had COVID does not count as "vaccinated".

Not completely because I think people are treating this as more serious than it is. If the disease killed 10% of healthy people who get it, I would think it's worth while using gov't force to keep these people from spreading it and killing people. But the rate is < 1%. I think getting vaccinated and wearing a mask are totally the smart things to do, but I don't see this threat rising near the level where the government should be pressuring people to do the right thing.

It's for job listings, and when I think of jobs, I think of labs. When the pandemic started, everyone kept saying "I want to get back to the lab."
It was so weird; I got a letter of transit to allow me to the lab because I work in biotech. Then we started realizing the disease isn't as bad as we feared and that it isn't spread on surfaces. People just came back to the lab slowly in 2020 without fanfare. Once we got the shot in February, we thought we could forget about it, until the Delta variant came. Then the indoor mask mandate came back. We only had a few weeks without it, but I know other places just ignore the problem. It's low risk, but I feel no need to go to those places. If there was some huge motivation, I would, but I haven't been travelling much and don't feel the need.

I wonder if that Job's Board will accommodate thousand of military personnel that will be let go if they refuse the Covid vaccine. The vaccine mandate is going to severely cripple this country with all the people leaving their current jobs because of the vaccine mandate. China sees that our military is crippled they will invade Taiwan. This what Biden wants.

Not to me. But in order to even think rationally about it you have to consider these things:

1. At this point you are more likely to get it from a vaccinated person
2. What does "unvaccinated" mean? In terms of the reported data it means someone who is not two+ weeks post-second shot. Think about that. Someone gets both shots, and a few days after goes to the hospital with covid and they label them "unvaccinated." Why?
3. Were they exposed to the virus and thus have natural immunity/resistance? Pretty much all of the research is showing that to be more effective and lasting longer than the shots

Do not accept "vaccinated vs. unvaccinated" even in terminology. It is yet another "class division" the collectivists need. Even now the terms are being manipulated to mean whatever they want them to at that time. The moment you accept "vaccinated vs. unvaccinated" you've conceded them that battle.

If nothing else, a mask prevents your exhaled breath from being a jetstream which carries your germs across the room. I consider it a matter of simple courtesy to wear one when indoors among strangers. Shouldn't be mandated by law, of course, any more than other forms of courtesy are.

The people who started the sickout at Southwest Airlines over its coming vaccine requirement are talking about expanding to a general strike against all companies that impose one. I want to spread the word. It would be especially helpful if this expanded to countries like Italy and Australia which have made it illegal to work or get paid if you aren't vaxxed.

A number of people early who got the vaccination died due to anaphylactic (sp) reactions, and a number of them had food allergies listed as a sort of pre-existing condition. I have several of those same food allergies. And in the first six months of the release of the first vaccination, 2 1/2 times as many people died as ALL OTHER VACCINATIONS COMBINED in the previous 4 1/2 years.

Nobody knows (or can know) what potential long term side effects this will cause. Will people's immune systems stop reacting on their own, maybe expecting to have something man-made injected to assist? Will allergies that people have get worse? Will they develop new allergies? Will people who see a similar corona virus 3 years down the road have one or more auto-immune diseases, as the body will overreact? Will vaccinated people grow penises out of their foreheads?

People who have had Covid are many times more resistant to catching it again, but the idiots in government (sorry to be redundant) are saying "f**k you" to science and are trying to have everyone--including past Covid patients--to get vaccinated anyway.

Even setting aside a myriad of philosophical reasons for not being vaccinated, do you really think my resistance to this is "weird"? Do you really think this is all paranoia?
