FreedomWorks Streaming ASp1 & ASp2

FreedomWorks says that their stream will feature a live chat.

Not sure if it is one movie per night or both movies on both nights, but the streams are up on Sep 8th & Sep 9th.

    I am too. But I have enjoyed reading your emails - and I would not have done that if this Gulch had not come into existence.

    So, we have virtually met at least.

    AS3 should be popular among broad audiences, but I doubt it ever will. Too many people have sold their souls for the "government cheese."

    Right there with you. I was really tempted to take some time off, but I start a new job on Monday, and my preferred method of travel from Vegas to North Texas is via a leisurely road trip.

    That means at least two days in Kanab, followed by a day at Mexican Hat (30 miles north of Monument Valley), with a final stop in Tucumcari, NM.

    My next trip will include stopping at 2-3 wineries in Utah that are situated near the Colorado River.

    That's what I'll be doing in two years, God willing...road trips twice a year to Reno to visit my sister, along the route I just described.

    Nice. Very generous as well. I own both movies on DVD. I'm so freakin' bummed I can't make the premier.

    This is a great idea for people who haven't seen the first two movies. The Star Trek movies in the 80s did a good job, I though, of a being approachable to people who hadn't seen the earlier ones. If I knew nothing about AS, were looking for a movie, and saw AS3, I might avoid it b/c I hadn't seen the first ones. Hopefully it will bring audiences up to speed.

    Sadly, I don't think this scenario (where someone wanders up and picks AS Part 3) will happen often. I don't understand the film distribution industry, but they're just not showing the film many places, even though it seems like it should be popular among broad audiences.
