Me dino once posted a photograph in The Gulch of Obama lighting up the White House at night with rainbow colors. That was shortly before someone else here posted photos of Michelle in a dress with a manly lump between her legs.
Talk about a connection being made! That brings my thoughts to sperm inspired as it is by this post.
Shortly after I retired as a corrections officer, I learned that a certain coworker got fired after a sergeant caught him having homosexual sex with an inmate. Later on I saw him in a grocery store with his little girl. Poor little thing was BUTT UGLY!
As unkind as some of it may be, all that me dino has written here is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

"The sperm that won" really rings the bell.
Alcohol has a lot to do with that phenomenon.
When the clock is approaching last call, beauty is in the eye of the beerholder.

Question: while alcohol probably has a lot to do with 'the sperm that won' are there any studies that follow the genetic make up of drug users? GGrama and GGranpa in the 50s-60s; Grama & Granpa in the 80s; mom & dad as 'X-ers' and today's kids as 'wokers'? I took a Psych class in the early 60s at a UC Berkley Extension that spoke to population stresses and infertility, homosexuality, spontaneous abortions, and cannibalism. Is it that or alcoholism or drugs that tweeks the DNA (before the Fauci Flu, that is)??

GOOD QUESTION, I would imagine, like any other trait, one would find a gene connected with addiction but doesn't always mean it will express itself, so, one should look for the trigger to cause expression of addiction.
My Mother was an alcoholic but I have the opposite expression of No tolerance for alcohol.

Neither were my sisters but both could tolerate alcohol on occasion.
