They want a small blood sample from everyone - for what reason?

The biobank holds donated samples of blood and saliva from about 90,000 (and counting) UCHealth patients. These samples are analyzed by researchers and the results contain important information about the association between certain genes and the risk of certain diseases, including some types of cancer and cardiovascular conditions. They also can predict how patients will respond to certain medications.

Samples collected also contribute to advancing and progressing science and medicine by finding new ways of detecting, treating, preventing, and even curing disease. If you are a UCHealth patient over 18 years old, you can sign up for the biobank today.

Sorry about the link, it takes you to my LinkedIn site rather than direct to the article, but you can read the key points of it above. They started this Biobank thing years ago, even before COVID. Made me wonder what it was about even back then, but now with their actions in response to COVID, even more suspicious! My advice, find a doctor you can trust (good luck with that), and stay away from hospitals!

Their motto is LIVE EXTRAORDINARY. My new version is DIE UNNECESSARILY. Killing people with Remdesivir and ventilators, all for government money.

what if they decide that your sample contains some genetic material making you more susceptible to being independent thinking, and therefore dangerous to the collective. Once they have the sample, they could do what they want with the donor..

My sister went to the emergency room with very unusual back pain , supposedly she was checked out. They gave her pain medicine she went home and died of a massive heart attack the next morning.

"Collective good" is a smokescreen for "government-enabled personal corruption and wealth." When they want to profit from your donation, it's a scam plain and simple.

I almost fell down laughing when I saw the ER charges for my admission to the Hospital in May of 2021. $168,000! And they didn't even locate the 80% blockage in my heart. My Cardio did when he called for a catherization! None of their dumb tests showed the blockage! I'm glad my doc doesn't trust ER tests!

Now that I know how corrupt Big Hospitals are, I am actually surprised that they asked for my permission.

“Any time I hear for the collective good, I run like hell.”
Agreed! When you look around at who makes up the collective. I can easily see that what’s good for them is not necessarily good for me. I may miss out on some “good” a time or two. But I will miss 100% of the bad that befalls the collective. And any bad that I do experience was because of MY OWN poor choices. Not theirs.

“Donating a biological sample to the biobank is an easy way for anyone to contribute to science and the collective good, and show appreciation for the care they have received.”

“People have become more altruistic during the COVID pandemic,” Kao said. “They want to help.”

Any time I hear for the collective good, I run like hell.

This is UC Health, the hospital system in Colorado I used to work for, until I quit in September, rather than get a jab. They have had this program where they are constantly asking for a blood sample for their "biobank", supposedly for "research". I always refused to donate. I do not trust what they are doing with these blood samples. Apparently they are doing some kind of genetic analysis. Has anyone else encountered this when they go to the hospital, or get a blood test?
