Who wouldn't love this? This is what it's all about. A policeman makes sure his children know what to do and with what. The kid nailed one of the filthy animals with several rounds. I hope the bastard dies, and the "juvi" offender goes to prison and within three days, is no longer anal retentive. I really don't want to get FuchFace excited, but I had to say it.

    I've had some time to ponder the ramifications of what I said. I'm sorry now because I just know FuchFace is likely choaking the chicken while he conjures that vision in his tiny brain. It's not good to throw gasoline in a fire, no matter how small it is.

      Is choaking really spelled that way. I thought it was choking. Have I been spelling it wrong my whole life? Not that I use it that often. You probably use it more than I do so perhaps I shouldn't question your spelling. Plus...you're older than me. (Part of that is going in the line of the day.)

        I did take typing. It was a required course. I think I got a "D". I hated it like I hated the foreign language course I was forced to take. French! I have no love for them, but the real problem was I not only had to learn to speak French, I had to learn to write it as well. Now, if the school district had offered a conversational Spanish class, I would have signed up.

        yea, that's weird you could take french but not spanish. must have been some deal MI cut with Canada. my husband is french canadian (half) and he doesn't speak a lick of french. forced my daughter to take it and then forced her to immerse in both Canada and France. she still thanks me today for that. made the boy take german. partly because we had all these foreign exchange kids from germany. immersed him and he thanks me today. I'm the only one who took spanish (4 years in H.S.) I am fully immersed and still not speaking it worth a darn. I'd rather teach everyone around here english....

        It wasn't offered? I took that through level 3, and Italian in college. Tried to learn some French with our kids a few years back when we went to France w/a bunch of friends. Haven't spoken it since.

        I got an A in typing and I failed second year French because I got kicked out.....for playing cards in the back of the classroom with a foreign exchange student from Australia. :) So worth it!!! On that note I'm off to bed. I just finished Agenda 21 and that was my goal for the night! Yay me :) (Behave yourself!)

        My mom pulled me out of typing class, in which I had an 'A', because she didn't want me to be pigeonholed in a secretarial position. I can't type to this day.

        My mom was funny about that. She was a transcriber for many years, and never wanted me to have anything to do with it. It was a terribly fatiguing way to make a living. It was all pay-per-page, until she started working on Capitol Hill. I remember her picking me up at home, driving back to D.C., and working until 1:30-2:00 am, then waking me up where I had been sleeping on a couch. Not good.

        Cursive is no longer taught in school. Haven't heard the word penmanship in forever either. My handwriting usually sucks on account of ALWAYS being in a hurry.

        It's still taught here, though how much longer I have no idea.
        
        I had to learn how to write like an architect in art school because of my major. I pretty much only write in caps now as a result. I like to mess with my kids though and write notes in cursive.

        I love cursive. my husband, the engineer writes in caps. I can't read that either. I have most of my grandmother's letters and responses. I love how the ink draws across the page and the dips and curlicues. p's and q's
