NY States Concealed Carry UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!!!

Interestingly, the dissenting opinion says NOTHING about the Constitution, just whining about gun violence, and the State's ability to address it. Unspoken is that Constitutional protections are irrelevant to their opinion.

This is a little like Heller vs DC, except it was 6-3, not 5-4.

    Shocking the dissenting could not develop an argument in terms of the Constitution. Even Scalia argues the Rights are not absolute, that the Second Amendment does not cover nuclear weapons for example. I could easily write an argument in manipulative totalitarian language that this was still Constitutional sounding like a liar rather than someone who should be impeached!

    I found the dissent (as quoted in this article) lacking in logic, and purely an emotional appeal.

    Being upset does not invalidate the 2nd amendment, no matter how upset you are. There is a process for amending the constitution, and the left never attempts that (which, so far, would be sure to fail). Their argument seems to boil down to "I'm so nervous around guns that the Bill of Rights should just go away". Thankfully most of the SCOTUS disagrees.
