And what are the Germans saying now? Do they regret the things that were said against Trump's idea?--Do they regret letting Russia take advantage of them?

France has a significant supply of electricity from nuclear. I suspect they will be in better shape than most of europe.

Doesn’t really matter. Perception is reality when the world is going crazy. Because of the French Monarchy’s inability to provide for the needs of its people......they lost their heads.

imo, coal will be the resource that supports the survival of the human race for the next 50 years.
Production of electricity with coal is already clean and ample supplies are known and accessible.

    Indeed.

It is somewhat ironic (in a tragic sort of way) that we take for granted the very things which make our modern lifestyles so possible. Energy has been the crux of civilization and its availability - or lack thereof - has either spurred progression or dampened it. This was notably seen at the beginning of the industrial revolution where instead of an insatiable need for coal in every house, there was a transition to electricity (powered by coal). Those who complain about "green energy" should be sent back in a time machine to London at the end of the 19th century when people - even the elites - went around with a perpetual soot of coal on their clothing and the prevalence of black lung even among the general populace. These hysterical nincompoops have no frame of reference for their petty whining.
