A pro-life activist arrested for pushing a pro-choice activist faces up to 11 years in prison, three-year monitoring and up to $250,000 in fines, all because the pro-choicer was spouting unrepeatable crap in the pro-lifer's 12 year old son's ear. This is just one of a whole slew of arrests and harassment unleashed by the F(ascist)B(astards)I(nsurrection) goon squads running rampant under the upside-down justice system we now have. The Bidoom administration is going full-automatic to subdue any and all who might vote Republican or conservative this November. They are so confident of their jackboot tactics that they don't even try to hide the partisan politics. Instead, they blast it all over the media--MAGA and anything remotely associated with Republicans is now an Enemy of the State.

In Babylon 5, the technomages went away for more or less the same reason that John Galt went away. From Babylon 5 comes this quote:

We are dreamers, shapers, singers, and makers. We study the mysteries of laser and circuit, crystal and scanner, holographic demons and invocation of equations. These are the tools we employ, and we know many things.

Warner Brothers funded and broadcast the pilot and first 4 seasons. Then Turner (TNT) did the 5th and final season, spin-off series, and later movies.
B5 is the best science fiction series ever broadcast on any network.
Note: The 5 years are a predefined story arc with many clues in early episodes that are used later in the series - just like real life.
So you must watch it from the beginning in episode order to grok the entire message.
The early episodes build the foundation and the characters grow into their roles.
It's a series for thinking adults' minds who pay attention to what is happening, just like Atlas Shrugged.
Don't expect to jump over episodes and completely understand it any more than skipping chapters in Atlas Shrugged.
(I tried to start by watching an episode late in season 1 and was put off by it.
Later I started from the beginning and it all worked beautifully.)
There are sites online that also show in what order add the movies to the series.

Not sure what network it was on, but it's from the early '90s and wasn't loaded with PC crap and certainly pre-dated the woke propaganda of today's programming. It ran for 5 seasons and had a few full length movies made to make it even better. If you like sci-fi and some pretty darn good stories (yeah, there were a few hokey episodes, IMHO) then you should check it out. Some episodes are like "AS in space". Except for the single season of "Firefly" (2002), IMHO, it is one of the last TV series made before the left totally took over the industry. There may be others that escaped the woke brush, but I'm not aware of them.

Edit add: I bought the DVD sets years ago and ripped them into my digital library and I watch them from my Apple TV box from time to time - usually when I get totally disgusted with current day crap and want to be entertained by something other than woke propaganda.

Full Panic Mode. They are trapped and as criminals all they know what to do is commit more crimes.
Pain and Justice is coming. Durham has them in his sights. We just need to get the fraudulent pardon in chief out and the duly elected President in. After all Biden would pardon everyone convicted, that is why the foot dragging By Durham and Weiss.

We know Biden is too far gone to do anything, it is Soros and Obama running the show. They are both critically flawed if exposed. We have to calmly keep the truth machine running, never back down. They are flawed and will destroy themselves in the end. People are dumbed down, but still love their families and freedom.

That SOB told the police that he thought the kid was on the phone calling for reinforcements so he ran him down.
The kid was on the phone calling his mom for help. To add to that, an 84 year old pro-life lady was shot as she went door to door talking to people about an abortion bill. They're still trying to find that SOB.

This gentleman who has such a lovely family needs to plead that he had a dizzy spell and accidentally fell on the other guy. When he bumped into him that guy fell and he was trying to help him up. Gotta think fast these days. Never admit to anything.

Hospitals are supposed to help people. I guess they will only help people who agree with the powers that be

Regarding Ayn Rand and religion, her atheist position is well known, but many may be unaware of how she ended one of her talks at Ford Hall Forum. "God bless America!" The audience roared enthusiastically in approval.

She also liked the American idea of Christmas, "Rejoice and be merry," presumably in contrast to Yom Kippur's, "Weep and repent."

Your posts are making me cry. I am 70 and not taken the shot. For me, the main reason is I'm allergic to so much. My whole family has, thankfully no one died...so far. What surprised me was one of my long standing (25 years) Objectivist friends stunned me by his ranting. Other incidents were overcome by steadfastly repeating my principles. We are civil to each other and I can tell by his actions his mindset has changed, but I know he will never admit it.

I have never seen the B5 show. Was it on tv? If not, where? Is it available online for free? It isn't so much paying for it. But, logins.....passwords..etc

You, like many, are far too charitable, thinking that they do this out of ignorance. They do not. They do this because of their never-ending lust for power. Because their end-goal is power, there are no means which are off-limits to them. There are no scruples for these people. The only way to fight them is to fight against their attempts to gain power through the ballot box and the purse. Barring that, we are looking at far more extreme circumstances - and remedies.

Thank you, MK. I have actually written a book, currently unpublished, working on a children's book, also had a 3-week series of columns in a local newspaper and a few other odds and ends. I have sold paintings and photos and I love doing all of it, even if it won't put food in the pantry :)

You’re channeling Ayn herself with this comment. Every think of taking up writing?

    Regarding the subject matter....:”Philadelphia”......nuff said.
Just get out of the cities.
I’ll ruffle a few feathers here but this passage holds true for even non-believers.

“Come out of Babylon my people. Lest you share in it’s plagues.”
Since the beginning of recorded history......
    More People=More Problems

Excellent speech! Interestingly I've been re-watching the B5 series and just saw that speech last week. There were also several episodes that really nail down today's propaganda media. As I watched I figured those B5 writers had a crystal ball into the future. B5 could never be made today.

Losing the younger generation is hard. Parents should never have to bury their children and I grieve with you. We lost my brother to a very strange flare-up of cancer. He was healthy, had just retired, to the joy of all of us. No hospital or treatment without the shot, and days later he was dead of a massive brain hemorrhage. It has been nearly two years and it still hurts. You will keep her memory fresh and you will love her. If there is anything of us that survives after death, it has to be love.
