so there is category 4 hurricane getting ready to slam into us. If you don't hear from db and I for a few days, that is why. Who is John Galt?

    Just heard from kh... they are fine! :) :) :) BUT no water, electricity and she had to go to a hotel to get internet, which is slow.. Cabo was evacuated, much damage, roads washed out, all flights canceled. kh and db were very prepared so they will be okay. :)

    OK. it has been downgraded. However it now hitting land. I am in 70 miles in. water is just pouring down. buckets. cats. dogs. horses. it's starting now. see you on the other side

    You are brave to live in that country... As a resident of FL who pays attention to hurricanes this time of year, and who experienced the fun of Hurricane Wilma, I wish you the best. Aside from the danger, hurricanes are an exciting force of nature to experience...

    well the first "arm" came through and was piddly. the second wave will unfortunately happen in the dark. the surf is roiling but not crashing yet. since I am world 2, electricity and internet are weak links. cell is stronger...we'll see. I have my "commodities" ready to trade...in case...if I don't drink them first...
