The final rule permits an institutional review board (IRB) to waive or alter certain informed consent elements or to waive the requirement to obtain informed consent, under limited conditions, for certain FDA-regulated minimal risk clinical investigations.”"

What this means- It is worse than you thought, freedom of speech, civil liberties, the rights of the individual, are being destroyed globally. If you are looking to move, there is nowhere to go. You can maybe try the 3rd world, at least there, there is bribery.
My opinion- Scientism is not the word, I think it is simply the power of mass media working with/for Deepstate in generating the fear and hysteria that prevents any level of individual thought among those who previously would not have expressed an opinion.
Years ago I was working in a governmental medical organization. We were approached by a major healthcare provider who said they wanted to 1-experiment on their patients and, 2-not tell them. I ended up having to educate our top management on the Nuremberg trial. They didn't know about it. They weren't bad people. They just didn't know...What shocked me is that it came down to stupid ole me. We're in trouble...
