- 1Posted by bubah1mau 2 months, 1 week agoSurely, history must play some role in this decision making as well as an unbiased attempt at discerning what future events might unfold—e.g., how safe are Guadalupe-Hidalgo cession territories (where Mexican/Spanish influence prevails) as opposed to Louisiana Purchase territories (where Mexican/Spanish claims were never in force, where French claims were settled with gold and w/out blood)?| Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink
