Like the Republicans absorbed the southern democrats, the leftists have absorbed the lemmings who reject religion, but need someone to tell them what to do (like many religious). Thus, we have a non-religious religion of DEI and climate change.
Me dino used that term to describe crap for art to my only lib brother who later went to Southern Cal University to study making movies during the Seventies.
Shortly before 1980 I heard an actor I can't remember in an equally forgettable movie call some crap for art "artsy fartsy."
Could it be that some L.A. screenwriter got that from my brother? I'll never know.
