That is because (besides The Three Stooges) food is only thrown by little kids, grown-up sissy guys and pinkos who wear pink such as Pinky Punk in the photograph.
You younger Gulchers or eavesdroppers may not be as familiar with "pinko" as is me an age 78 (million) year old dino.
Me heard it used during the Fifties and the Sixties but I do believe it faded away by the Seventies and was gone by the Eighties.
Also, my this century spell checker red lines the word.
Anyhoo, click the link to read about what a pinko is~~https://politicaldictionary.com/words...

The last regular use of pinko, that I remember, prominently public, was bespoken by Carroll O'Connor. Those were (some of) the daaaaays!

Wow, I think I remember that.
If in kinda a fuzzy way.
Me dino was a big fan of that show.

Also a huge fan. You know, if I hit the powerball this week, I think I'll foot the bill for two remakes: All In The Family, and Blazing Saddles. Between the two, I could pretty much explode every lefty head in existence.

Me dino's brother Joe and I was with our now deceased father when we watched Blazing Saddles in a theater a long, long time ago.
About that flick, later on somewhere Joe remarked, "I never heard Dad laugh so hard in my whole life."

Hey, dino, I remember the popular use of the word "pinko" quite well and it's commie-leaning meaning. Nice link as it clears up the original meaning of "red" before it was flipped on its head by the contemporary Marxist main stream media (as in red states vs blue states). I figure this flip can be confusing to younger people who didn't live through the pinko/red years.

Had a multiple choice for choosing pinko definitions and me dino had similar thoughts about confusing younger people the "reply" was aimed at.
Then methinks these are bare boned facts about a past I clearly remember even if the red is blue and the blue is red jive may come off to some as a history mystery or a mystery history or what ever the heck I'm trying to say.
Hey, I just let my morning coffee get quite cold. So there.

Vaguely remember 'pinko' or something like that in 1940s early 50s cartoons.
Kind of patterning these 'Sunday' memes like that, "Cuttingly Sarcastic",
Though, this week, just silly . . .

Me dino thinks a memory of "pinko" much later inspired someone to come up with "RINO."
Writing the previous sentence, I came very close to describing "RINO" as a slur before I realized that sometimes there is truth in advertising.
Besides, I despise RINOs. Yep, do believe it was during the despicable eight OBAMANATION years when I first heard that term.

What can I say other than, "Priceless!"? Thanks, OUC! LOL!

I'm not a fan of Subway since the company created a lot of advertising making white males look stupid or worthless not too long back (no clue now as I avoid them altogether).
