Mamdani appoints convicted armed robber to public safety transition team

Dear New Yorkers: Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it. God, this is gonna be so much fun to watch.
I've been reading "Mao, The Unknown Story" by Jung Chang and Jon Halliday and it is a real eye opener to the workings of one of the most evil individuals in human history. It also shows a blueprint of the communist method taking over a country. You can see some parallels here in the USA. I got ithe Kindle version because Amazon had a sale for $1.99 and I figured why not? Good read!
There is a committee of five city officials that could form and vote the mayor out of office, but it looks like that was designed to only be convened when the mayor is physically unable to do the job.
The governor could force the mayor out, but it looks like there must be some legal reason why (see: Adams, Eric).
I could have missed it, but it sure looks like the one thing that can't happen is a recall election.
I've got my lawn chair and bucket-o-popcorn, and so far it's been a good show.
Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged
Ayn... it's coming true.
I stopped visiting in the late 80's (except for visiting a relative) because broadway
creativity had turned to perverted garbage.
Wall St had been a sewer of perverted thieves since the
19th century, The rest of NYC has been living off that
unproductive den of thieves for decades.
Don't do business with enemies.

Maybe even the parasite perch.
It's just a matter of chained logic, not too complicated.
The book had to progress and reach the conclusion as written.
This required that Rand build the story as one would build a skyscraper -- an integrated system of elements designed to be logical, functional and beautiful.
It's a philosophical and by extension, boots-on-the-ground battle between Individualism and Collectivism. Individuals working in context of their own self-interest, praxeology (human action) operating with the understanding that one is not to initiate the use of force, otherwise understood as exercising The Right to Be Left Alone -- to that extent, optimized human flourishing occurs when Individuals (all individuals, but in particular, the most intelligent-ambitious-visionary) rise to the apex of their exercised talents. The collectivists look upon this flourishing with envy; their actions are to tear it down either through theft (taxation) or destruction (regulation). They appeal to the underlying envy of the lower-classes, promising Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (all of which are unearned).
New Yorkers voted for this (or did they? Was Biden elected or installed? And Mamdani?) -- it will be interesting to see this play out. And yet the collectivists seldom, if ever, take account of their failures. My remorse at this situation is directed at those citizens that did not vote for this, but will have their apple carts turned over in the mayhem that will precipitate from this toxic mixture of narcissism, solipsism, fraud and open faced theft.
