In NV we have a lot of gun shows. The Californians come over by the droves to look and dream. Last week I was at one. Have been looking for a smaller caliber carry gun. One table had a good selection of such guns, along with little signs that said, "Please ask to handle guns". I spotted a nifty little Taurus 380 semi-auto. Very clean. Asked if I could pick it up and the salesman asked, "Are you a citizen of Nevada?" (yes) "Sure, go ahead." So I did. Neat gun. I put it down and joked, "Just don't let the Californians pick it up." He said, "Yeah, we don't because that gun isn't on their approved gun list." I was shocked. This little 380 carry piece is illegal in California. I went on a mini tirade in my discussion with the guy. See...In Cali the governor repeated has violated input from the courts. In this case he gave the citizens a list of "approved" guns they are allowed to buy. Like frogs in the pot they went along with it. Now, of course, the list has shrunk down to the point where many of my buddies there can't buy the firearms they really want and just about all of them own guns no longer on the list. What surprises me isn't that the government there did that. I'm surprised the people went along with it. I find it very strange. We all know where this incrementalism leads, of course. And, I still say Gavin will be in the white house next. I know just how he'll do it, too. He'll gaslight. Get him on the big stage next to Vance and he'll look right in the camera and say, "There weren't any fires in California." and, "We never had a homeless problem." I marvel at his ability to pull this stuff off and get a pass from the media. When he debated the gov of FL and was told that adult literature with graphics depicting young and old people together didn't belong in the elementary school libraries he actually said, "You can't remove those. They're read by black people." Crazy, crazy stuff. My son and I rewound that segment, haha. You've all noticed what's happened in Australia, England, and Canada.
