Has anyone else noticed while driving that hardly anyone uses their turn signals these days? It's polite to signal to others what your intentions are, but it also keeps you safe so they don't crash into you... yet most people just change lanes or suddenly brake for a turn without letting other drivers know what they're planning to do.

I remember learning the hand/arm signals to use in case my blinkers weren't working when I took my driver's license test. Do they not teach the importance of signaling anymore? That could explain the younger drivers failing to signal. Still, I see plenty of older drivers who don't signal either, so I suspect it's a lack of civility or even a subtle hostility to others that makes most people refuse to signal before their turns and lane changes now.

So, pretty please, if you've been neglecting to do so, remember to use your blinkers for the safety of yourself and others.
