How Republicans Can’t Win in 2016
I’m liking Bobby Jindal for 2016. I would be okay with Chris Christie in the VP slot.

While we're very happy to have you in the Gulch and appreciate your wanting to fully engage, some things in the Gulch (e.g. voting, links in comments) are a privilege, not a right. To get you up to speed as quickly as possible, we've provided two options for earning these privileges.
And then, just as President Obama's administration worked with Congress to continue all of previous policies of the Republican White House and Congress, the new Republican president (2017-2025) can sign into law the bills from Congress that continue to deliver the programs of the previous Democratic administration.
If you do the same thing over and over you will not get a different result.
I don't want Chris Christie anywhere near the White House.
Maybe make him ambassador to New Jersey.
As for Iowa, I remember the 1980 caucuses (I should; I was there. My mother was a caucus worker and won ours for Reagan). Bush was the Republican party establishment choice, and they (the establishment) pulled out every dirty trick in the book to get him the caucus victory in Iowa.
So the likelihood is high in Iowa that they'll go for the progressive Republican candidate who makes conservative noises rather than a true conservative. And with that candidate, he'll either have to move left in the general election to gain progressive votes, thereby losing conservatives, or move to the right and fail to get those progressive votes.
