There are wind turbines that don't have the huge blades and don't kill birds, and probably not bats either, but since it's not GE making them.......

I got this email from Americans For Prosperity today urging us to write Lamar Smith to not extend the wind energy subsidy. I was listening to the radio this morning and there was this news item about a danish wind turbine company hiring in Colorado. Gov. Hickenlooper was all see we are the state with all the alternative energy jobs! that's why Colorado has gained jobs not lost them. well, fine. more govt financed jobs. brilliant!
