Is the A-salt Rifle available in different calibers? Can civilians purchase an Automatic Model, or is it only available as a Semi-Automatic? Do you need an A-salt Permit to carry one?

I've been buying bug zappers by the case for years. They make excellent (and slightly unusual) house warming gifts. We gave one to a friend in Nevada when we visited them. Months later we got a message that they were having a ball with it. Sometimes the bugs are even vaporized and you can't find a trace.

Awesome, I live in cow country and flies are a fact of life out here on the high plains. A mixture of sticky strips, fly swatters in every room and a small chihuahua that hates flies, we still get them. It is a matter of dogs having to go outside and just normal ins and outs of normal life.

So far, so good. No flies. Ok, there was ONE. But it didn't live for long. :)

My left hand, quick reflexes and my trusty fly-swatter "Fly Reaper". Yep, I'm a lefty, but shoot right-handed. (Right eye dominant)

me, too. ain't it fun? You can switch your dominance [no, not that kind. I hardly know you!] - if you shoot with both eyes open it doesn't matter, but if you only use 1 eye most people, given the choice between changing the hand they use and the eye they use, choose to change the eye because it's easier. Sure was for me!. Rifle work is the hardest, because it's not just your eye that's dominant. It's all about body positioning!

Yeah, being ambidextrous is cool. Although I'm left handed, I'm right handed in everything else, except throwing, batting, bowling and golf. Oddly, I'm comfortable using either hand when fencing. Yes, I've actually tried fencing. If you've never done fencing, all I can say is this: you better have really strong legs & thighs or else you'll be finished in no time. 5 minutes of "Advance, advance, retreat, advance, retreat, retreat. advance" will wear you out!

I have done a little fencing - enough to know that ARMA is where I should be. I also did 2 seasons of stage combat set in the time of Richard the Lion and John [and Eleanor!] That was truly a kick, as well as a workout. We worked with spring steel swords, short swords and daggers. It was one of those troupes that, at the end of a show, the director says "OK - who got hurt? Besides Kerry, he's already at the hospital." and if you showed off a banged knuckle, you got a "is it OK?", to which the expected answer was "yeah". I loved it.

Now that I crawled off the floor after a spasm of hysterical laughter. I have to admit that the salt shotgun is a great invention. It sure beats playing Mr. Miyagi with chop sticks.
