A comment is completely different from a post, so it will have run a different program to create it, and it will be less complex (less to do, less to update.) I haven't seen any posts start at 0, but I don't look for them either... I am too busy reading what I posted and fixing my typos and my writing errors ;^) Sometimes I still don't make the point as I intended.

maybe. I've been seeing it more frequently of late and pointed them up. I hate to see 0s. lol. Zen's comment didn't auto-correct, for example.

I think it autocorrects. It happens off and on. I concluded it is a lag between the creation and display of the post itself and the update of the database with the points. It's as if the creation takes place and it can be displayed, but the addition of the first point is in a separate update function, and it sometimes causes a lag.

Actually, we haven't corrected anything. We're not seeing the 0s. We're looking into it now. If you see another one at 0, don't vote it up. Post the link here as a reply so we can take a look. Thanks.
