Go back 70+ years. little Herbie is playing with toy cars and trucks. What is he doing? Why he's smashing them into one another as he makes crashing sounds. Heavens! Call the white coats -- the kid will grow into a monster! Girls play with dolls. Boys play violent games. It's in the genes. Heck, way back then the most fun I ever had was when the boys from all over the neighborhood played Red Rover, and they weren't all pre-teens either. So there were scratches, bumps, bruises and now and then, a bloody nose. Moms expected it and had the bandages and iodine ready and waiting. We have raised a generation of woosies.

sigh. context. I have been called on this. Title from Spain takes a long while and is a dirty road. (figuratively). I think YOU need one of these. But I know you refer to your grandson.

Ooooooooh... yes, of course. Sometimes if I read your comments like, say, 10 or 12 times I can figure them out, but sometimes I just don't want to read it that many times, or think that hard, mental puzzle pieces.. sometimes I have to make an awesome dinner while being in the gulch, so..this time the soup won. I want one of those cars...but imagine the insurance cost alone... sigh :( And I don't think they'd pass emissions either...but a girl can dream.

Looks like fun. Road rage is the rest of being fed up with stupid and entitled drivers. I have long fantisized having a powerful laser that I can aim quietly at someones trunk who is an idiot driver and bore a hole in it as a message. But I dont do it. There are SO many stupid drivers here in Las Vegas its unbelievable. I have never lived in a place where the drivers are so bad. The automated cars would really be good here !!!

I live in Vegas as well. If you haven't seen worse drivers then youve never lived in the People's State of California; I did for 20 years, then moved to the PS of Washington, then to Nevada. At risk of sounding religious, count your blessings.

I did live in Riverside CA for many years. I should elaborate on "worse drivers". In my personal experience, the California drivers indeed were quite aggressive. But they seemed to have purpose and planning. In LV, there is what I call the MTV approach to driving. Dont think and plan, just decide at the last second what you will do. That means dart from the right side of the road to the left hand turn lane right at the last second because you thought of something you needed there. Constant lane changes when it doesnt gain you hardly anything except a better chance at an accident. No one seemingly wants to commit to a plan for getting from A to B. Wait until the last second in case some other travel lane becomes available. Its like MTV in real life here- no one commits. There are no plans made in advance because 'something better might yet come up".

Sounds like the way my cat plans his day.

Seriously, I have noticed a little of this but nowhere near what I saw in CA and WA. I did recently encounter an extremely aggressive driver who passed me (I'm in the LEFT lane!) in the left-turn lane doing about 60. After pulling back into my lane he nearly rear-ended another car and avoided it by moving into the right lane. Then he was stuck at a light and I caught up to him. I promptly noted the model and color of his car, his license plate, and when I got to my destination I called him into the non-emergency police department dispatcher. I figured that direct confrontation would be a bad idea as I was not armed at the time.
