Since I'm no longer allowed wine, I will have a root beer float (sugar free ice cream + diet root beer) in your honor. Wishing you health and prosperity.

    Happy birthday from a dino!

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMxrXMjP...

That scene has a happy personal memory attached to it back when I was a Marine supply clerk.
Somewhere I learned along the line that the Marines were only drafting people smart enough to be admin and supply clerks. This may not say much for those who joined to fight the Viet Cong and the Communist Domino Theory--but there you have it.
Another supply clerk named Thacker approached me in the barracks with a big smile and asked if I would like to see a Godzilla movie at the base theater.
I was all like "A Godzilla movie! Are you kidding?"
He told me it would be fun while I was thinking I had nothing better to do, it only cost 25 cents to see a flick and popcorn and a Coke struck me as tasty.
This silly flick turned out to be about space aliens abducting Godzilla to fight space monsters on another planet.
Turned out Thacker thought it was silly too. He had come to laugh at the movie.
Because he laughed, I laughed. We did a lot of laughing together.
When we saw the above scene, Thacker screamed with laughter so hard he almost slid out of his seat. At that point he had me laughing so hard tears were welling up in my eyes.
Later we even drove off base to see other stupid Japanese movies just for laughs. That was something impossible for me to do by myself.
On Thacker's last day of service, I saw him walk out the barracks door and cry "AH!"
Three months later it was my turn.
That was during the Jurassic I think.
