Hudgins to Speak in Pittsburgh!

Edward Hudgins, an Atlas Society senior scholar, will speak in Pittsburgh on Saturday, April 19, 2015.

The topic of the half-day conference, co-sponsored by Americans for Prosperity and the Conservative Coalition, is Understanding and Tackling the Principle Political Problems of the U.S.A.

Ed will be speaking on the internal civil war and ideological battles within the Republican Party. He will explain why the GOP faces a demographic death spiral and will argue especially that social conservatives should join with libertarian-leaning Republicans to fight for a consistent freedom agenda.

Also speaking at the event will be Antony Davies, a Duquesne University economics professor, who will address the country’s ballooning deficit and economic woes. In addition, Anita MonCrief, a grassroots activist who gained notoriety as the whistleblower exposing the ACORN voter fraud scandal, will describe her personal journey to embracing economic freedom.
