I think they'll be consistent and we will see a completely different cast.

That would cut out the union costs, but the animation costs would rival some numbers seen in DC. :D

It would have been decided by now. So we wait.
That provokes an idea- 'they will be human'. But why? There is one very difficult character to portray. How about a computer animation? The technology may now be just up to combining an animation with human characters.
