    on Fox this past evening, the statement was made
    that this judge signed a stack of these warrants at

    Well, I think we've determined that Wisconsin is "special"...a sticker on a license plate? How about the silhouette of a piston sewn on your breast, like a yellow Star of David...?

    What will probably need to happen is a sheriff with a spine will have to assert his legal authority and arrest these criminals.
    Officers would be much less likely to open fire on fellow officers.
    Unless this is heavily documented and immediately released to the public as it happens, John Doe attempting an arrest will be quickly blown off as a "domestic terrorist".

    Unfortunately, I just saw "Woman In Gold" which had several scenes of NAZIs doing exactly the came as described here. I suddenly got a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. (By the way, a really good film and Helen Mirren is a wonder). I never thought that this sort of thing would ever happen in My America. But like the man says "It already has."

    Your comment made me think - When will anybody do anything about it? Somebody will literally need to carry out a citizens arrest on one or more of these "officials". Wouldn't that be met with extreme violence?

    Where do we go from here?...

    Well, for what it is worth, I heard this from an officer in a rural town of 4500 people in a county of 24,000. Even our local, republican Sheriff did not want concealed carry in Wisconsin without a sticker on the license plate of the permit holder. Urg!

    Just my opinion (maybe I could get a government grant to do an official, pseudo-scientific study to make it real).

    Also, and again, IMO I'd bet most police and police organizations support 2nd Amendments rights, which would be irrational if they saw their job as routinely knocking down people's doors.

    But I'm also certain there are exceptions to that, especially I would think in large liberal cities, where nobody should have guns but the police, of course.

    This is (thus far) the most egregious abuse of power I've ever seen.

    Our Lords and Masters are beginning to flex their muscles, believing they now have the power to completely ignore the Constitution.

    It's up to us to remind them they do not have absolute power. If you see this happening, record it, call the press, spread it all over cyberspace.

    I have no doubt that that's true. I dare say their are probably some extreme officers who would leave out the "emergency" qualifier. But as Rand showed in AS, morality and immorality exist at all levels of the pyramid of ability and within all occupations. I'm sure there are many policeman out there just as shocked as we are about this extreme violation of rights.

    Unfortunately, I believe that even the good officers do not see it this way. I heard it first hand from a local officer. They believe they have the right to go into anyone's home and take anything they want in an emergency.

    Yes you are now doomed J. I learned yesterday that the FBI was involved in these raids. True or false is unknown but heard it from a very reliable source. So they can track you down in any state. :)
