While I disagree with one of the particle 's premises, the hypocrisy is stunning. They want their energy and use it too.

    yes. The manned exploitation of space (or conquest of space), not simply the manned exploration of space.

    We did make some advances with the original space program but I think this project is a waste. It is his money to waste however.

    I'm ok with the space flight stuff-but he should be consistent or make a case for the space travel furthering goals that offset the energy gobble(using his reasoning). This always amazed about Al Gore-the rest of us had to have a plan and deal in carbon credit BS but he would continue using his private plane, many cars and huge well-lit mansion as he pleased. This is what happens when you tell people what they "need" to do
