Since his life is forfeit and belongs to the people he wronged, I suggest using him for medical experiments in vivo that are not yet authorized for human subjects. Dissect him, inject him, keep his body alive for as long as possible. Cut out his brains section by section to see what makes people like him tick. Transplant organs (if anyone is willing to accept them) or implant genetically modified substances for as long as he lasts. Maybe some useful medical breakthroughs could be made to benefit other humans eventually.

Sorry to say....justice was not served. He was a patsy. It involved more than just he and his brother (who was also executed - just by mania-driven cops without due process while in custody). Where is the justice for the cousin in Florida who was killed during torture by the FBI? Where is the justice for the victims by way of the CIA & Homeland Security agents that knew the older brother had just gotten back from training in a foreign nation and said and did nothing?

This execution is just a way to end discussion.

I would be happy if rather than making him a martyr to his misguided comrades though, we just gave him bread and water, chained his ankles and made him break rocks in the sun until he dies a miserable death. Either way he deserves no pity. It is just unfortunate that the appeals will force us to expend more time and money on vermin.

I just got back from spending the day on board my old ship, the USS Midway CV-41. It brought back a lot of fond memories flying Phantoms and a few not so fond memories of when the Iranians took over our embassy in Tehran on November 4th of 1979. I find it interesting how so many of us want some kind of torture revenge, we talk about it, but we really never do it. We just do what the law specifies, at least most of us most of the time. I wonder if that is a conservative trait or just a normal human trait? Even in the Nam when we were really ticked off by someone that had just killed a buddy of ours we didn't try to capture him and torture him, we just shot him dead, period. I find this method to be simplistic and financially responsible.

I would hope had this creep been sentenced to life, someone from within would have gotten to him and taken care of it. There is no reason in the world to allow someone like this live.

I am now guarded about the use of the death penalty (overturns by reviews of evidence by 6th grade classes does not imbue one with confidence in the judicial system) but if ever there were a 'worthy' subject, this would be the case.

The sentence is appropriate but the mother deserves one too. A truly miserable creature, she has consumed the poison of hatred in hopes others die.

There was an interesting argument presented by some defense attorney, that is cost more to apply the death penalty than life in prison. This seems absurd to me; however, I wouldn't be surprised by some of the crazy costs of appeals, and time to carry out the sentence. He'll probably be 40 when they finally inject him.

One could be encouraged that a jury in Massachusetts applied the death penalty; however, the jurors had to be "death penalty qualified" to serve..kind of cool. Maybe the socialists here just need a real fight to fight now and then to keep them from the ivory tower.

Death by consumption by feral pigs is much more direct, offensive and painful.
