While we're very happy to have you in the Gulch and appreciate your wanting to fully engage, some things in the Gulch (e.g. voting, links in comments) are a
privilege, not a right. To get you up to speed as quickly as possible, we've provided two options for earning these privileges.
- You must reach a Gulch score of 10. You can earn points in the Gulch by posting content, commenting, or by other members voting up your posts.
- You may upgrade to a Galt's Gulch Producer membership to immediately gain these privileges.

Oh goody! They say you can tow it behind your electric car, and the turbine will recharge its battery while you drive. Wonder how much good that will do, because 750 Watts is about equal to 1 HP, and wouldn't push any car very fast. It takes about 22 HP to push an average-sized car down the road at 55 MPH.
Looks like it needs to be longer, slimmer and have wings, retractable landing gear, and a turbojet.
It shows this much: sun and wind can generate enough power to provide comfort in a shelter for a few people. They will not suffice for an industrial economy. For that you need something like John Galt's electrostatic motor--or a low-footprint nuclear reactor.
You will feel exactly the same when you wake up.
