I forgot you are the author.. I have to get your book faster now. I thought it strange when the interviewer asked if things like corruption and government really happen. It sounded like she had no idea, but she may have wanted to stress the point. I think you were both great. I had a hard time with her switching authors constantly.

One of the things we are trying to get across in our stories is that in free society ruled by logic and reason there are heroes everywhere. Pendulum is based on a real invention, there is a real heart surgeon inventor who did save an ER from a crazed person and his invention was stymied by the patent office and the “truth in accounting law (Sarbanes Oxley). Eli Whitney’s invention of the cotton gin caused a 100 fold increase in the production of cotton in ten years and along with the inventors of new weaving machines brought cotton undergarments to the masses. This may not sound like a big deal, but think of wearing scratchy wool in the days outhouses and no toilet paper. These inventions are credited with saving millions of lives.

A society based on power and force selects for people who are ruthless. Think of the character in Stuart Yates novel or the people at the top around Hilter, they were psychopaths/sociopaths drunkards but their defining feature was their willingness to be brutal. In a power society you find villains everywhere and the most ruthless at the top.

Hank is fighting for those heroes that you find in a free society and here on Galt's Gulch.

Welp, I'm not going to listen.

I've spent 20 minutes selectively allowing elements and still no audio or video. Some of the elements I will NOT allow.

So, I'll just have to wait and hear what other people say.

are you giving me the float wave or am I giving you the float wave? I thought of you OA when the one author kept saying he was cynical. ...you hide that part of you

It sounded fine to me. True it would have been better if you guys were the only guests, but I'm partial. I won't apologize for that either. Good job. :)

I just listened to the show.

I think you both did well.

The interviewer and one of the other authors, not so much.

I hope that she found the way Hank got revenge to be ironic and unique. Morris steals technology, but is too ignorant of technology to save himself.

Our beta test readers loved the way Hank kills Morris, but some did believe he would do it.

something that caught my attention was when the host said, "hank is very good at revenge."

i wondered if she considered hank to be justified in his actions against the characters that wronged him? does she see him as a villain or a hero? it suddenly struck me that some people out there might finish the book and say, "wow, hank is an awesome villain!"

anyway, D & K: you both did a GREAT job. you guys were succinct yet articulate.
