    The laugh of the day is:The federal government has Tomahawk cruise missiles, Apache, Blackhawk, Kiowa, Lakota helicopters, used the code word Geronimo for the operation to kill Osama Bin Laden, officially objects to the name Washington Redskins. Really? How about if we named the team the Washington Whiners in honor of politicians? Well... that may not be fair to the hard working players in the team.

      You are right Obama needs to rename all those military weapons along with all printed and electronic references to them before he can object to a sports team.

    Whoa. This dialogue is getting so stupid as to make me speechless. I can't even think of a response. I guess the old saying applies, be careful when you get into a battle of wits with an idiot. Before long onlookers will not be able to tell which is which.

    The Richmond Redskins has a nice alliterative ring to it. Do you suppose it would be a racist thumb in Oblabla's eye if the team moved to the seat of the Confederacy's government? And then raise the Stars and Bars over the stadium?

    Fine, let DC suffer the economic loss due to the Federal harassment. The Redskins should stay out of DC and upgrade in place or move to a new location outside of DC.

    First question. Whose paying to rebuild the old stadium? Check out the history of Seattle.

    Secondly now that it's out of DC consider the traffic problems caused on game days. Again check out Seattle.

    They should stay where they are at currently.

    Did the anti-coalition offer any suggestions as to acceptable names? We have the Senators how about the Representatives or the Executive Orders?

    Agree or disagree, is it too much to ask that POS to keep his opinion to himself and let market forces deal with some of these so called problems? Further, could we possibly agree that not EVERY word from Funk and Wagnalls is a racial slur?

    There should be no way they could stop a privately funded project like that, although I am sure they will try...they have all our money and can print as much as they need for a long drawn out court battle. Now, if they are seeking 'state' favors in return for building it then they are screwed! But if the state says ok then I do not see what balmy could possibly have to do with it...he's not the feuer yet!
