I actually view Atlas as film noir. I would even like it shot in black and white--with lots of close ups and shadows.
See my comments to EconomicFreedom. If you really care to do this, and have the talent, nothing is stopping you. As above, I like the Art Deco "steampunk" design theme. That has been suggested by another regular, also. It would be faithful to the period, but set in a timeline different from our history.

A number of years ago, there was a clever television commercial for a vacuum cleaner — don't remember the brand — that convincingly put the face of Fred Astaire on a tap dancer who was tap-dancing away as he vacuumed the floor.
