Has anyone seen AS1 or AS2 on any of the premium movie channels such as HBO? I have Showtime and can't recall seeing either.

    Heck, spend the couple of bucks and buy the DVD's that way you can watch at any time and don't have to depend on a good internet connection - soon via "net neutrality" we will start seeing soft censorship. Imagine a left leaning business slowing down your connection if you download AS or other patriotic movies.

    Correct. I thought it was a big miss not getting the thoughts of the various people on the train as it goes into the tunnel. That would have conveyed to an uninitiated audience the spectrum of wrong thought that exists. I acknowledge that it would have been very difficult, but not impossible. But a 2 hour movie will be hard pressed to include everything from a roughly 400 page section of the book. I just hope that JG's speech is given its due. I was impressed with Francisco and Hank's speeches in AS2.

    I won't deny having memorized a few lines, although I try not to as a habit because so many are different from the novel.

    Not that I think the movies are not good, they are in my opinion. I cannot imagine trying to capture something as big as AS in movie format, especially having to adapt it to modern times.

    ASI and AS II are on Netflix. They should be in number one position as many time as I have watched them.
