Forgetting the silliness of the article it does point out that any statistical review of data, reqardless of how accurate (or inaccurate) the data depends upon proper analytical methodology and proper logical analysis of the results of the data testing and conclusion making.
Whom ever did the first stoudy did not take the proper methodology with all of the checks and balances that are needed in a statistical study.

It’s actually promising for me if you look at the data and realize similar conclusions could be aligned with current interest in social-media for political advocacy.
