Coke's "America The Beautiful" Commercial

No one is singing this beautiful, uniquely and distinctly american song in other languages. Heck, I'm not sure children even learn it in school anymore.
Coke is an american company who no longer supports the United States, and this is just one more example.
They are agenda driven with crony capitalist arrangements that are anything but american in spirit.
1. that polar bear nonsense and global warming
2. openly supporting Obama
3. During WWII the US paid to build Coke plants all over Europe. Pepsi wasn't given sugar rations during that period-so they had to use molasses. (Pepsi isn't pure-under Nixon got some special deal we paid for to go into China).
Slick and pretty, but no one is singing America the Beautiful in other languages.

    I'm not sure what your point is. Is it that the rhyme and rythm kept their integrity in a different language?

    Falafel is delicious. I appreciate the ENGLISH instructions on the side of the box.
    One is about "melting pot"-taking the best and integrating it into the american culture of natural rights and freedoms. The other is about Balkanization and possibly celebrating irrational differences.

    Maybe I'm just an a-hole, but I hate these type of commercials. Simply a company seeking to ride on the coat-tails of 'patriotism and diversity' to sell its swill. Coke is good to clean battery terminals on your car and blood off the sidewalk; otherwise they can keep their phosphoric acid.
    As far as the song goes, English, damn it!!

    did you read my post? you purposely answered a different question. I have seen a couple of naturalization oath takings. One was when my husband was sworn into the Bar, and there were dozens of citizens taking the oath. It was wonderful. One was my mother-in-law, who is french canadian. I have already said on one thread-she sings America the Beautiful in English. I have NEVER on this site said any language is the "wrong" language. Oh-I take that back-I'm sure I've mentioned Ebonics and said "wrong."
    I live in another country!!
    I am questioning the point of the commercial. The US has been essentially "monolingual" since before the Declaration of Independence. The official language of this country has been English, both in business and in government. The Coke commercial was pretending to be inclusive while purposefully marginalizing US melting pot culture and tradition.

    True, for the first and maybe second generation of immigrants. By the third generation, it was always something that new immigrants ingrained in their children - assimilate via language.
    Today we have Balkanization - multiple nationalities that keep themselves separate in nearly every way - language, culture, food, etc.
    The old adage that America was the "melting pot of the world," has ceased to be. To the detriment of the nation. This is being fostered by the progressives who use it to pit one group against the other.

    How did they screw that up with their own doctrines? Diversity was created new ideas evolved, what is wrong with that? It was the freethinkers that contributed to starting a rebellion and creating a constitutional government.
