Did anything ever come of the reading, winterwind?

When we were competing in iron silhouette, many people who had competed - and other friends - congregated at Neil and Cathy's house for discussion. It was wonderful. Neil is not in great health right now, but he was excited about this idea.
There are 2 books I'd love to read with a group. The first one is his first one, The Probability Broach. It is so full of "how it would be different" that it just blows past your preconceptions and keeps going. The other is "Hope", written with Aaron Zelman of JPFO - "about the first Libertarian president" was the subject-sentence I got from Neil. I have not read it and so can make no claims about where it falls on the "get in - sit down - shut up- hold on" scale.

I have not, but I will look them up and add them to my ever growing tower of books to read, not including the one on my Kindle. I love the idea of a reading group, especially with a Q & A with the author.

Have read some of them and would enjoy re-reading. (Then meet at the range for some target practice.;^)

I'm up for it, Winterwind. I have never read any of his books, but I love good hard sci-fi. Keep me posted. And Good Morning!
