This just breaking on the news and comments blogs. Question who is on whose side?

So far Russia, France, and US. Who would have thunk it? they must have snacked in there while we were listening to all the peace talk BS. Yup I spelled it that way on purpose.

    ISIL, at the moment, is a LOT closer to the Russian sphere than it is to the U.S., so it's a bit more pressing issue to Mr. Putin than it is to Tsar Barack. And since Mr. Obama has time after time demonstrated an inability or an unwillingness (or both!) to follow through, Mr Putin has decided not to fool around any longer with this clown. As much as I detest Putin, I have to respect the man because he's looking for for the best interests of his countrymen and his country.
