No, this isn't the kind of pop-up that pop-up blockers block. This would be from the browser itself.

As of 5:00 pm C.D.S.T it was back to working for over an hour. I think it might be resolved.

Just tried Opera for Android, same certificate error. Weird it works on other equipment (Windows on laptop, Linux on desktop). Thought it might be my carrier but tethered, my laptop and desktop still work. Curiouser and curiouser"

I started getting the invalid certificate message on my desktop running windows 7 and firefox 41.0.1. When I switch over to opera 32.0 as default, I no longer get the message.

Yes, by going to advanced it allows me to override the security warning. Tried every update on my side, but it is a new phone, could just be a bug in Android.

I just checked on my kindle. It did pop up a message but allowed me to continue to the site.

Does it say something like "certificate not from a trusted authority". On my android phone, I could "view the certificate" and "continue" to get to the site.

My new Android phone is giving me HTTPS errors that come and go. It is a new 5.1 (lollipop) version. Don't have the errors on the Desktop (linux) or laptop (Windows) so I assume the problems has to do with Android.

Of course if it keeps me off the gulch, some might say "that's not a bug, it's a feature!"

We actually just recently migrated the whole site from HTTP to HTTPS (SSL). Jay's doing some Kindle testing now. We'll keep you posted.

right before I left for Germany. I realize I have a browser that is antiquated. I can't load Daily Caller or Politico as examples. but never had the problem with the Gulch. It tells me to reload the page-like I have no internet connection. did you guys do something fancy :)?

Which Kindle version is it? What happens when you attempt to load GGO? Blank page? Error message? When did this first happen?
