I might question Harvard Debate Team's performance, but instead want to revel in Bard's program that has developed strong debater's living their life in incarceration. and their argument!
the issue was should illegal children in the US be turned away from public education. The Harvard debaters were caught off-guard with the inmate debaters' argument-

"The inmates impressed the judges by suggesting that if public schools turned the students away, non-governmental organisations or wealthier schools could step in and provide better education to the children in any case."

some copies of AS would be a nice trophy for those men :)
